Dual raids unearth cocaine, loaded gun and ammo

Officers from the West Division of Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS), executed two search warrants in Toronto locating drugs, ammunition, and a loaded firearm.

On Tuesday, June 6, members of the West Division Community Response Team concluded an investigation into drug trafficking in Ajax.

Two search warrants were then executed; one on the suspects’ vehicle and the second at his residence in Toronto. Police seized a quantity of cocaine, a loaded firearm and ammunition. In addition, a quantity of currency was also seized.

The 32-year old suspect of Toronto, is facing six charges, and was held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
