Another Durham arrest for child pornography

Durham Police yesterday said a 32-year-old male from Oshawa has been charged with breaching a prohibition order stemming from the offence of possessing child pornography as well as new additional charges for the same offence.

In March 2023, members of the Internet Safety and Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) conducted a search warrant at a residence near Bond Street West and McMillan Drive in Oshawa.

During the search warrant, electronic devices were seized and analyzed.  As a result of the analysis, a 32-year-old male was arrested and charged on June 7, with child pornography related offences, said a police statement.
