Tactical unit called in for drug raid, three held and released

Two females and one male are facing charges after a drug investigation led to the seizure of a quantity of drugs in Oshawa.

On Thursday, May 9, members of the Community Resource Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, executed a warrant without incident in the area of Cedar Street and Knights Road.

A dozen parties were located in the residence along with cocaine, fentanyl and currency, which were seized. Two females and one male were taken into custody without incident and the remaining parties were referred to community-based treatment programs, said a police report.

A woman, age 24, another age 26, and a man, age 29, all from Oshawa were charged and released on an undertaking.
