Durham dentist charged with sexual assault, released

Durham Police yesterday said a male employed as a dentist has been arrested for sexually assaulting a patient during her appointments in Ajax.

On Saturday, July 13, the victim attended a dental clinic located at Rossland Road East in Ajax. During two of the victim’s appointments, the dentist touched the victim inappropriatelyn said a police report.

Police are concerned there may be other victims and have released an image of the accused. The dentist also works at another dentistry on Lawrence Avenue East in Scarborough.

The man, age 36 from Ajax was charged with sexual assault and released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
