Durham gets Ontario’s “biggest, most complex” corn maze

The Buzzing Bees Adventure farm has announced that its corn maze theme this year is ‘Fairytales’.

It has created an in-maze puzzle hunt with escape-room style puzzles; which – the farm claims – is the only one of its kind in Ontario, and one of the biggest and most complex mazes.

The game this year is the Fairytale Corn Maze Crusade and is played inside the maze. Guests need to find 8 different villains hidden within the maze, and each has a unique puzzle to solve. They solve each of the hands-on puzzles and find their way out of the maze. Then they complete a final puzzle which, if done successfully, allows them to remove the Sword from the Stone which sends the villains back to Fairytale Land.

The puzzles are designed for people of all ages.

Along with the marquee corn maze and in-maze game, the farm also includes a number of other family friendly activities like peddle karts, elastic band shooting range, toddler playground, slides, sandbox, field games and more. Their rabbits and chickens will also be out to visit. Additionally, they will sell fresh popped kettle corn, their own maple syrup, honey, jam and pumpkins.

Cost this year has been kept at $9 per person with children under 2 years old free with an adult. It is open Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays from September 13th until October 31st at 1070 Concession Road 5, Sunderland.
