The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced that regional facilities will remain closed to the public, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Regional Council will continue to be held electronically until further notice.
- When: Durham Region facilities that are currently closed will remain closed until the new year.
- Where: Regional facilities in Durham Region.
- Why: To protect the health and safety of the public and Regional staff, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Note: Drop boxes are available at the south entrance of Regional Headquarters (605 Rossland Road East, Whitby) for services such as Water Billing, Provincial Offences Act matters, and Social Services. Do not put cash in the drop boxes.
