The Regional Municipality of Durham has announced that Regional Waste Management Facilities (WMF), the Household Special Waste Depot and the Waste Management Centre will be closed on Remembrance Day. In addition, the Waste Management Call Centre will not be answering calls or emails on Remembrance Day.

- Brock Waste Management Facility (C22480 Brock Sideroad 17, Cannington)
- Clarington Household Special Waste Depot (1998 Bowmanville Avenue, Bowmanville)
- Waste Management Centre (4600 Garrard Road, Whitby)
- Waste Management Call Centre
Why: In observance of Remembrance Day.
