Eastbound lane closures on Highway 2 in Clarington coming up

The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Durham Regional Highway 2 in the Municipality of Clarington’s community of Courtice.

When: February 24 to March 14. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Eastbound lane restrictions on Durham Regional Highway 2 from, 180 metres east of Sandringham Drive to 250 metres east of Sandringham Drive, in Courtice.

Why: To safely install a storm sewer and complete curb infills in support of new development.

The region said it realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
