It has not been long since children returned to school.
Already, the Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) has issued more than a 1,300 tickets in the first week of the Back-to-School traffic blitz.
Now, it has come up with the top five excuses that speeding drivers offered, while explaining the reason for their violation.
