Fleet-of-foot narcotics robber strikes again?

Durham Police said a male suspect is wanted after a pharmacy robbery on Wednesday afternoon.

On January 25, at approximately 2:35 pm, members from Central West division attended a pharmacy located at 65 Baldwin Street North in Whitby. The lone male suspect entered the store and made a demand for narcotics and opioids while brandishing a knife. The suspect fled westbound on foot with a quantity of products.

There were no physical injuries reported, said a police statement.

The suspect is described as: male, White, approximately 30 years old, 5’7” tall, thin build, dark coloured hair. He wore an orange and teal mask, blue jeans and gloves.

Anyone with any dash-cam video or any new information about this robbery is asked to contact the Major Crime Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
