Help police find stabbing suspect, victim survives attack

Durham Police reported a male was sent to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in Oshawa.

On Saturday, June 18 at about 12:25 am, officers from East Division attended the area of Grandview Street North and Rossland Road East for an armed person call. A 28-year-old male was located with stab wounds. He was taken to a Toronto-area trauma hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The suspect fled the area.

The suspect is described as male, white, 16-21 years old, approximately 5’7”, shoulder length brown/blonde hair and was wearing sweatpants and a grey hooded sweatshirt.

The investigation is ongoing and police are looking for any surveillance footage or witnesses from the area.
