Tactical, K-9 teams called in to arrest of suspect drug dealers

Durham Police said a drug investigation in Oshawa has resulted in the seizure of drugs and cash.

On Thursday, June 16, members of Central East Division Community Resource Unit, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit and the K-9 Unit, executed a search warrant on Cromwell Avenue. As a result of the search warrant two persons were arrested and officers seized a quantity of cocaine, drug scales and Canadian currency.

A male and a female suspect, both of Oshawa, are charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine). Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.

Both were held for bail hearings.
