Help police look for February hit-and-run car

Durham Police are looking for witnesses to a collision involving a pedestrian in February of this year.

On February 2 at about 1:30 pm, police responded to the area of Charles Street and Athol Street East in Oshawa in regards to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. The vehicle fled the scene and has yet to be located, said a police statement.

The vehicle is described as an older model red vehicle with black rims and tinted windows.

Police are aware of witnesses that were in the area at the time of the offence, but have yet to come forward. Investigators are now appealing for anyone with information in relation to this offence to come forward.
