Officers from the North Division of Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) last week posed a traffic knowledge question for residents:
“What front window tint is legal?” they asked.
“We will give you hint…None!,” they answered their own query
“Oh yeah, and the fine is $110. Adding tint will cost you, they reminded motorists, following a stop in Scugog.
Meanwhile, in an on-going festive Ride update posted yesterday, DRPS said its first media release will come out after a full week of enforcement.
However, a sad update from last (Saturday) night is that five impaired drivers removed from the roads of Durham.
“As proud of the team as we are, the fact people are still driving impaired is very disappointing,” said DRPS Traffic Services.
