Illegal surgery clinic found, victims asked to come forward

Durham Police investigators are looking for victims or patients who may have health concerns to come forward after an unlicensed/unregistered clinic was located in Oshawa.

On Wednesday, October 6, 2021 members of the DRPS – Financial Crimes Unit completed an investigation in relation to a suspected unlicensed and unregistered cosmetic surgery clinic being operated in a private residence. The primary suspected procedures were Botox, non-surgical nose augmentations, fillers and hair transplant surgeries.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a residence on Pilgrim Square in Oshawa, working in conjunction with The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, Durham Region Health Department, and Durham EMS. The suspect was arrested in the residence without incident.

Police seized numerous documents and evidence at the scene.

Isaac Aceveda, age 51, of Pilgrim Square in Oshawa is charged with: False Pretense Over $5000. He was released on an Undertaking.
