Oshawa-Tribute naming rights partnership extended

The City of Oshawa and Tribute Communities have announced a partnership extension, which will see the naming rights of Tribute Communities Centre extended to 2031. The extension adds five years to the existing 10-year agreement, which began November 1, 2016.

Located in the core of downtown Oshawa, Tribute Communities Centre is Durham Region’s premier sports and entertainment facility. Tribute Communities Centre ranked 10th in Canada and 188th in the world for ticket sales by Pollstar Magazine for the 2019 Mid-Year Worldwide Ticket Sales Top 200 Arena Venues Chart.

Since opening in 2006, the sports and entertainment facility has hosted major concerts and special events including Elton John, Cirque du Soleil, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Selena Gomez, National Grand Slam of Curling events, numerous IIHF and CHL events, and Weightlifting and Boxing during the 2015 TORONTO Pan Am Games.
