Oshawa Pier to be reopened on Saturday, October 9

The Hamilton Oshawa Port Authority (HOPA Ports) and City of Oshawa yesterday issued a brief statement announcing that the pier at the Oshawa waterfront will reopen to the public on Saturday, October 9.

The pier was temporarily closed following a vessel incident in September.

No further details were released.

On the morning of September 25, a vessel reportedly damaged the pier, which was subsequently closed to the public.
