Poisoned weed that can kill stolen from cannabis farm

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) yesterday warned cannabis thieves that the weed plants they have stolen from a marijuana farm can kill them if ingested.

In a brief tweet, DRPS said on Wednesday, October 6, several cannabis plants were stolen from a licensed grow operation in the Ashburn area.

It said the stolen plants were recently treated with a chemical which can be “fatal if ingested”.

DRPS  asked the public or witnesses to get in touch  if they have any information about this incident.
