Investigators searching for suspects who set BMW SUV on fire

Durham Police yesterday appealed to residents to help investigators in the search for arson suspects.

On August 24 between 4 am and 5 am, two suspects set an SUV on fire at a residence in the area of Strouds Lane and Rosebank Road, in Pickering.

The suspects arrived in a small, light coloured sedan, possibly an Acura. The suspects doused a parked BMW X3 with gasoline and set it ablaze. Investigators are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying these suspects.

The first suspect is described as male, Black, tall, medium build, wearing a black balaclava, grey sweater, grey jogging pants, and brown/black shoes.

The second suspects is described as male, tall, medium build, wearing a grey hoodie, and dark jeans.
