Jurassic Alert: Dinosaurs seen at Brooklin in Whitby

Several kids and their parent reported seeing dinosaurs in Brooklin, Whitby yesterday.

Some even had their photographs taken with different dinosaurs, who emerged at yesterday’s Brooklin Harvest Festival.

Running from 10 am to 4 pm, businesses and restaurants on Baldwin Street offered sidewalk sales, while there was an Adventure Zone with Rock wall, Kids’ Zone with inflatable corn maze, interactive activities, balloon artist and scarecrow scavenger hunt.

Harvest Festival is a pedestrian focused event, and to provide safe, accessible aisles for pedestrian traffic, the following roads were closed from 6 am to 6 pm:

• Baldwin Street North from Cassels Road to Way Street
• Roebuck Street
• Cassels Road East from Baldwin Street to Church Street
• Portions of Durham Street, Princess Street and Campbell Street
