Kaos tracks suspect across woods, creeks to under fallen tree

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) K-9 Unit has been to the fore again, tracking a suspect through dense woods and knee-deep creeks.

They were supported by the Air1 team.

PC Elkington with K9 Kaos and Air1, got into action when they received reports of a suspect fleeing on foot after he was stopped for a stolen vehicle.

After an intense 1km track through dense woods, deep mud and knee-deep creeks, Kaos located the perpetrator hiding under a fallen tree, said the K-9 Unit.

The suspect was taken into custody.
