Klutch sniffs out suicidal man hiding in dense brush

Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) K-9 Unit was the fore again as yet another life was reportedly saved by Durham’s finest.

In a joint operation that included officers from DRPS North Division, the K-9 Unit and Air1 police helicopter, a suicidal man was “sniffed out”.

PC Wes King, K9 Klutch, DRPS North Division and and Air1 teamed up to track and locate a suicidal male who had fled into the deep woods, said a K-9 Unit tweet.

It did not mention where the incident took place.

“After tracking for 1.5kms, Air1 observed the male trying to hide while Klutch sniffed out the concealed male lying in the dense brush, the tweet added.

No further details were released by late last night.
