There will be no GO Train service from April 22 to 24, according to an announcement by Metrolinx, operator of GO Trains.
“There will be temporary changes to Lakeshore East train service beginning in the late evening Friday, April 22 until end of service on Sunday, April 24, to accommodate continued rehabilitation work on the Rouge River Bridge and other important track work along the corridor,” said a Metrolinx notice.
It said buses will replace train service for the weekend beginning late Friday evening.
The train service will resume on Monday, April 25, said Metrolinx advising users to be sure to check schedules in advance and plan ahead.

Metrolinx also reminded users that masks remain in place on GO Transit and UP Express.
Metrolinx also announced it is bringing back more evening and weekend service on the Lakeshore lines and on UP Express, with more incremental service increases on the way.
“We’ll continue to pay close attention to travel patterns and do our best to keep service and train lengths aligned with demand,” it said.
