The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Newtonville Road (Regional Road 18) in the Municipality of Clarington.
When: August 29 to November 4. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Newtonville Road, from 350 metres south of Concession Road 5 to 800 metres south of Concession Road 6, in the Municipality of Clarington.
Why: For road rehabilitation.
The region said it realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Drivers are asked to exercise additional caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
