Man charged and released after sexual assault on driver

Durham Police yesterday said a 46-year-old male has been arrested after sexually assaulting an employee of a driving service.

On Wednesday, August 2, the suspect used a designated driving service and was being driven by the victim in Scugog. During this time, the victim reported that the suspect sexually assaulted them, touching them in an inappropriate manner, said a police statement.

The suspect of Kawartha Lakes was charged and released on an undertaking. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.

Investigators want to ensure there are no further victims.
