Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) K-9 Unit was at the fore again, saving yet another life.
PC Handscomb, K9 Flex and officers of DRPS East Division, teamed up to track and locate an individual suffering a mental health crisis. The person had fled into a dense forest and hid.
Durham Hero K9 Flex quickly tracked and located the concealed individual who was then taken to hospital for further assistance.
