Truck-car battle on Hwy 401: Whose fault is it anyway?

Child Safety

DRPS Traffic Services yesterday asked a question: At what age should you secure your children? Answer: Always, from day one.

They stopped a van (below) after an officer spotted movement of passengers.

A four-month old was not secured at all, and two 6-7 year old’s were not belted properly.

Terming it “unacceptable” the driver was charged and safety risks explained.

Don’t be loud about it

In its second stop, DRPS Traffic Services found a driver (below) doing 41 over the speed limit.

The motorist also had no horn, modified muffler/noise, and more.

If you are going to break the rules… don’t be so loud about it, police said.
