Man fighting for life after being pinned in driveway crash

A 27-year-old male suffered life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a motor vehicle in Whitby on Saturday.

On August 6 at about 8:50 pm officers from Central West Division were called to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Old Lake Ridge Road. The male was struck in the driveway of a residence and was pinned between two vehicles. He was transported to a Toronto Trauma Centre where he remains in life threatening condition.  The driver of the motor vehicle remained at the scene, said a police statement.

Members of the DRPS – Collision Investigation Unit, attended the scene to conduct an investigation. This collision is still under investigation.
