Man fires gun into car with three people, all safe

Durham Police have arrested a 22-year-old male after he discharged a firearm into an occupied vehicle on Wednesday night.

On July 6 at about 10:35 pm, members from Central West Division attended the area of Dundas Street and Halls Road for reports of shots fired. Officers searched the area and located evidence of a shooting. The suspect shot at an occupied vehicle. There were no injuries sustained by the three occupants. The suspect was located nearby and arrested. Police seized a handgun, said a statement.

The suspect from Whitby was charged and held for a bail hearing. Names and further details available at www.drps.ca.
