Man in hospital with serious injuries after altercation

A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital after receiving injuries during an altercation early Tuesday morning in Oshawa.

On June 15, at approximately 6:25 am, members from Central West Division were called to the lobby of a building at 1800 Simcoe Street North for a male suffering from injuries as a result of an altercation. The male was treated at the scene by Durham Paramedic Services and transported to a local hospital. He has serious but non-left threatening injuries.

Investigators are continuing to investigate the details surrounding this incident.
