Man robs pharmacy, but doesn’t get far

Officers from North Division have arrested a male in relation to an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Port Perry.

On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at approximately 4:30 p.m., members of North Division were called to Pharmacy Associates on Water Street in Port Perry. The suspect entered the pharmacy and brandished a knife. The suspect took items and fled on foot.

Members from North Division attended the area with the assistance of Air1 and K-9 units. After searching the area, the suspect was located and arrested.

The victims did not suffer any physical injuries.

Paul HANSEN, age 32 of No Fixed Address, is charged with Robbery, Disguise with Intent, and Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose. He was held for a bail hearing.
