Vaccine gap extended to sixteen weeks

The government of Ontario extended the interval time between the first & second dose of Covid-19 vaccine to 16 weeks apart. For those who had their 1st dose prior to this change, you would have received an email that your original 2nd dose appointment has now been cancelled & rescheduled.
This change is based on a recommendation from the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI).

  1. Well I think that we are all being lied to. The drug companies originally said the second dose should be administered 3 weeks after the first. Now theyre telling us 4 months. I believe that because they screwed up they changed the time to 4 months. This is very hard to believe. They have totally messed up the distribution of the vaccine so badly, Are there too many decision makers or not enough? People are dying here and the people working on this pandemic cant seem to get their act together,
