“Petapolooza offers an experience like no other,” said Lindsey Narraway, Supervisor, Animal Services. “This event is completely centred around our furry friends, with activities designed to enrich their lives while fostering community connection. It’s a great opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy quality time with their pets.”
Petapolooza is Pickering Animal Services’ largest fundraiser of the year. A voluntary $5 donation will be accepted at the entrance, with all proceeds supporting the development of a new animal shelter in Pickering.
For the safety of all attendees, pets that do not do well with crowds, loud noises, other animals, or unfamiliar people should be left at home. All dogs that enter must comply with the Responsible Pet Ownership By-law (6811/07) and the Dog Owners’ Liability Act.
