Month-long lane restrictions coming to Park Road in Oshawa

Durham Region is advising motorists of upcoming lane restrictions on Park Road in Oshawa as road resurfacing work gets underway.

According to the region, the lane restrictions will be in effect from approximately May 12 to June 13, though the schedule may be affected by unfavourable weather conditions.

The affected section of Park Road (Regional Road 54) runs from eight metres north of Frontenac Avenue to 21 metres north of Adelaide Avenue (Regional Road 58).

The restrictions are necessary to accommodate road resurfacing work along this busy stretch of roadway.

The region acknowledged the potential disruption the construction may cause and notes that efforts will be made to complete the project efficiently. Drivers are urged to exercise caution in the area for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists, and work crews.
