Motorcyclist rear-ends tractor-trailer, in hospital

A 29-year-old rider is in hospital with serious injuries after he collided into to the rear of a tractor-trailer, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division.

The incident is said to have taken place eastbound on Highway 401 and Kingston Road at around 1:40am yesterday.

Witnesses reported two motorcycles were traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the collision. The second rider did not stop.
