The Region of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bloor Street (Regional Road 22) in the Municipality of Clarington, starting this week (September 21) until October 31 to safely repave the street.
They state that construction will be from Bloor Street, from 100 m east of Prestonvale Road to 540 m east of Prestonvale Road, in Clarington.
The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and has said they will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
Businesses in the area will remain open during construction.
