A new electrical substation has been installed in Uxbridge at the Parks Yard, located at 129 Main Street North.
The Township of Uxbridge said it partnered with Elexicon Energy on the installation.
The investment value and shared costs were not released.
The new substation will be the third in Uxbridge and will allow Elexicon to continue to provide reliable service to the growing community.
This new and upgraded infrastructure will help strengthen the local electricity system, improve power restoration times, and provide additional capacity to support downtown Uxbridge and the community’s future needs.
