The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) has reminded vehicle owners to ensure their automobiles are insured.
The reminder was issued after a driver was caught without insurance in Uxbridge over the weekend,
“This driver (above) was charged with operating a motor vehicle on a highway without insurance. Please ensure your vehicle has valid insurance, it’s the law,” said officers from DRPS North Division.
Meanwhile, DRPS last night said officers were investigating a motor vehicle accident at Taunton Road and Brock Road in Pickering.
“Intersection is currently closed. Please avoid the area,” they said.
