Knife-wielding robber demands cash… and cigarettes

A male suspect is wanted after a convenience store robbery in Oshawa.

On January 25 at approximately 6 am, members from Central East Division attended Circle K in the area of Wentworth Street West and Oxford Street. The lone male suspect entered the store and demanded cigarettes and cash while brandishing a knife. The suspect fled northbound on foot with a quantity of cash and cigarettes, said a police statement.

There were no physical injuries reported.

The suspect is described as: male, White, approximately 5’7” tall. He wore a black mask, white hooded sweatshirt and black trackpants.
