Following the auto theft ring bust press conference (see below), police revealed that new information shows the suspect, whose car hit and dragged an arresting officer in Oshawa, provided false identification to investigators and the courts.
According to police, the individual, originally reported as a 31-year-old woman, is now believed to be a 24-year-old woman from Quebec. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
She is wanted on charges of failing to comply with a release order, obstructing police, and evading lawful custody. Police indicated that additional charges are expected following this identity update.
