Oshawa trail closed for tree removal ahead of bridge work

The Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Trail in Oshawa is closed for tree removal in preparation for future bridge and trail work.

The City of Oshawa said that it has awarded Contract No. O 25-10 to Kodiak Tree Services. The work involves the removal of trees along the trail for.

Where: Joseph Kolodzie Oshawa Creek Trail closure from Bloor Street to Wentworth Street and from Erie Street to Oxford Street.

The city’s contractor, Kodiak Tree Services stated that they will commence work on or about March 10. The work is expected to be completed by April 1. Unfavorable weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may impact the work schedule.

For public safety, construction will include trail closures from Bloor Street to Wentworth Street and from Erie Street to Oxford Street.
