The City of Oshawa is inviting families to a free New Year’s Eve celebration at the Delpark Homes Centre on December 31st.
The Oshawa Celebrates 2025 event on Tuesday, December 31, from 6 pm to 9 pm at Delpark Homes Centre (1661 Harmony Road North).
This free, family-friendly celebration marks the close of the city’s Centennial Year and promises an evening filled with fun activities for all ages, said a city statement.
The event will feature free skating and swimming, a Zoo to You experience, jumping castles, and live stage entertainment. The highlight of the evening will be the family-friendly countdown to the New Year at 9 pm, offering a festive way to celebrate the end of Oshawa’s Centennial Year and look forward to the new year.
In addition, guests will have the opportunity to view the “How Many Hearts?” mural recently installed at the Delpark Homes Centre. Created in collaboration with the LivingRoom Community Art Studio and Oshawa community members, the mural celebrates the spirit of community and belonging that has defined Oshawa throughout its 100+ years.
Wristbands for skating and swimming will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 5:45 pm and regular swim admission requirements apply.
Event parking will be available at the Delpark Homes Centre and at the adjacent Maxwell Heights Secondary School. Durham Region Transit (DRT) bus service is available to the Delpark Homes Centre.
