Pedestrian bridge over Petticoat Creek closed

Pickering has announced the closure of the pedestrian bridge over Petticoat Creek as a measure to contain the spread of Covid-19.

The city said the pedestrian bridge has been closed to maintain social distancing since April 8, 2020 until further notice.

It has been closed in the east at Cliffview Park and in the west at the Petticoat Creek Conservation area. The closure has been put into effect, as social distancing cannot be maintained with pedestrian movement from both directions, the city said.
