Pedestrian in stable condition after being struck in Oshawa

Durham police reported that the roads were a greasy mess and that they’ve already had a number of multi-car collisions throughout the region.

One such collision left a pedestrian hurt.

A 32-year-old man suffered serious, non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Oshawa.

The man was struck by the vehicle in the northbound lane and was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he is in stable condition. The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.

The area of the roadway was closed while evidence was collected. This collision is still under investigation.
