Durham police are searching for a man and woman team after they committed a series of locker thefts at recreation centers across Clarington.
Last December, members of the East Division Criminal Investigations Branch began an investigation into a male and female responsible for numerous locker thefts at the Courtice Community Complex located at 2950 Courtice Road and the Diane Hamre Recreation Complex located at 1780 Rudell Road in Newcastle.
The suspects forcefully accessed lockers and stole wallets, and banking cards. The suspects then used the bank cards at retail locations for high value fraudulent purchases.
The man is 35-years old from Toronto and the woman is 29-years old and is from North York. Names, photos and further details available at www.drps.ca.

Brampton Teen Stole from Durham Gyms
Durham police said another male is facing numerous charges after stealing items from lockers at gyms across Durham Region.
In another series of locker thefts, on Thursday, February 5, at around 12:15 p.m., members of East Division responded to a suspicious person call at the Planet Fitness located at 2377 Durham Regional Highway 2.
A man was seen going through several gym bags and lockers in a change room was apprehended by an off-duty officer.
Officers arrived on scene and took the man into custody without incident. The suspect was later confirmed to match the description of a male banned from several other fitness clubs for thefts.
The 18-year old man from Brampton was held for a bail hearing. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
