Police cruiser receives a very special visitor

People who are familiar with a police cruiser are generally officers of the force or those who have no wish to find themselves inside one.

But one very special visitor got to meet a Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officer in uniform and and inspect the cool car yesterday.

Officers from DRPS West Division DRPS were stopped in a parking lot catching up with paperwork when they received the warmest greeting from little Dawson.

Please stop by and say hi if you ever see us out and about in the Town of Ajax or the City of Pickering, police invited residents.

There’s space for two on this tow truck

Meanwhile, on Monday DRPS Traffic Services said two people were charged for stunt so quickly that they made it on the same tow truck (image below).

The incident took place on Myrtle Road and Highfield Drive in Ashburn Village in Whitby, which is a posted 50 kmh community safety zone.

“Slow down, drive safely and obey the rules of the road,” police said.
