Police get interested when man shows off gun at bar

Durham Police yesterday said a 22-year-old male is facing firearm and drug charges after attending a bar in Oshawa and showing off a handgun to patrons.

On Sunday, June 4 at about 1:10 am, members from Central East Division attended the Atria Bar located at 59 King Street East in Oshawa.

Inside they located a male who was in possession of a loaded firearm. Officers further located and seized approximately 58 grams of crack cocaine, the firearm and ammunition, said a police statement.

The suspect from Hamilton is facing 11 charges. Name and further details available at www.drps.ca.
