Durham Police investigators have identified the victim of the 10th Durham homicide as a 26-year-old male from Oshawa.
Andrew Junior Rochester was killed early Thursday after being shot in a residence in Oshawa on Albert Street (see below). The Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and is continuing to make a plea for witnesses to come forward, said a police statement.
There were multiple individuals inside the residence at the time of shooting. Homicide investigators are looking to speak with those who were present at the time of the shooting.
