Police investigation at Port Credit GO has concluded

GO Transit yesterday announced that the ongoing police investigation at Port Credit GO has concluded and regular service has resumed.

It did not mention what the investigation was about.

“The station and parking lot are now open. There will be residual delays until trains are back on schedule. Please check http://gotransit.com/serviceupdates before travelling,” said a company statement.

A worker was killed on the night of November 27 during work on the tracks in Pickering causing delays and temporary stoppage of train services on the Lakeshore East rail line.

GO Transit said on the Lakeshore East route, buses will replace some train service the weekend of December 10-12.

Beginning late evening Friday, December 10 until the end of service on Sunday, December 12, train service will only run Union-Guildwood GO on the Lakeshore East Line to accommodate construction work.

Buses will replace trains between Guildwood and Oshawa GO, but will depart at different times than regular weekend trains. There will be no train or bus service at Rouge Hill during this temporary service change, GO Transit added.
