Police responds to strangers living on Oshawa rooftop

Strangers were found living on top of a building in a tent in downtown Oshawa, according to Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS).

It said officers from the Central East Division Downtown Initiative responded to a community complaint for unknown parties living on top of their rooftop.

Officers found remains of human activity and a tent at the location, said a statement.

The police said it would like to remind residents to check their property for any suspicious activity and to call 1-888-579-1520 for any non-emergency concerns.
